Stroke Mochi to pet it, click to poke, press and drag to pick it up and carry it. Tap the floor to call it over.
A bubble bath for the dirt patches, and a mop for the little slime puddles it leaves behind.
Food goes in the bowl. Strawberries are the favourite, onigiri fills it up, cookies and macarons are treats that make it rounder. A full Mochi refuses.
Mochi nudges the ball back to you. Drag the ball and let go to throw it.
Hunger, dirt, puddles and too many treats make Mochi sick. Medicine fixes it.
The room follows your clock. At night Mochi sleeps in its bed. Turn the light off so it sleeps well; on when it is awake and scared of the dark.
Guess which way it will look. The camera takes a polaroid; the diary is written by Mochi.
Type or hold the microphone. Ask it to remind you of something in a few minutes, or give it a new name.
Mochi grows up over a few days and remembers you between visits. It really does not want you to close the tab.
